Being
a strong advocate of protecting the environment, Softwood insists on
using only rubber-wood that is of replenishable source and widely
accepted throughout the world as an environmental-friendly material.
Rubber-wood is obtained as a by-product from culling of rubber
plantation in excess of 25 years of age that can no longer produce
latex for commercial application and need to be replanted with new
growth. Thus, not only no deforestation is involved, but also every
integral part of the tree is employed to its fullest utilization.
Along

more obvious. Wooden parts can be used in the making of much versatile
ParticleBoard within the furniture industry. Sawdust from our dust
collecting system is utilized as compressed fuel-cube for traditional
cooking or as perfect material for mushroom cultivation. While much
finer dust is the crucial component in incense-stick production.

that each of us, may it be a person or company, has a part to play in
this essential environment, Softwood strictly uses only non-toxic
color and lacquer constituent for all our products. This not only
